GPT exceeded the NABERS Energy rating target of 4.5 stars in each year 2011 - 2017
NABERS is a performance-based rating system for existing buildings, rating buildings on the basis of the measured operational impacts on the environment.
GPT uses the NABERS rating tool across its office and retail assets for energy/greenhouse emissions and water.
GPT is a member of the technical working group working with the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage to improve the NABERS Waste Tool.
GPT’s developments are guided by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) – Green Star Rating tool and where there is a sound business case will have the development certified by the GBCA
